STAY SAFE

We strongly recommend to follow the guidance at the resort including the points below.

 

  • Participate in private tours organized by the Asante Sana and trusted partners.

  • Avoid crowded places and events

Booking Policy

Check-in starts at 1:00 pm. Check-out by 11:00 am. Upon request, a free late check-out is until 11:45 am. 

 

Credit card required to guarantee reservation. For offline payment option, we will follow up with an invoice that must be paid within 48 hours to hold the reservation.

 

Room not occupied by 11:00 pm will be seen as No Show, unless prior arrangement has been made. No shows will be charged 50% of the total booking. Without contact or travel information, room will be released at 1:00 pm on the day following expected check-in.

Guest Conduct Policy

At Asante Sana Beach Cottages we want all of our guests to have an exceptional holiday with us. We hope that you will make new friends and experience Africa at its finest. We feel that everyone should have an understanding of the behavioural standards here in Asante Sana Beach Cottages (ABC), ensuring that all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable stay.

  • Each party is expected to follow the ABC Guest Conduct Policy along with the general moral and ethical standards accepted in Zanzibar and the United Republic of Tanzania, and to comply with applicable laws.

  • ABC is entitled to remove any guest engaging in illegal activities or violating property rules. In the event that a guest is removed from the hotel, the contract of accommodation is immediately terminated and no refunds will be issued.

Accommodation

  • All guests must prove their identity at check-in to the reception staff by submitting their Passport or Identity Card. The hotel has the right to refuse accommodation to a guest who fails to produce the correct or required identification.

  • Visitors are not allowed into guest rooms without registering at reception. No visitors will be permitted to enter after midnight without prior arrangement with Management. An extra fee will be charged to the Guest for visitors to stay overnight.

Guest and Staff Interaction

  • All of our staff members are friendly and helpful and will always do their best to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Please do not interpret their friendliness as anything other than professionalism. 

Inappropriate or Abusive Behaviour

  • Inappropriate or abusive behaviour is not permitted. This includes uninvited physical contact, solicitation, harassment and violence toward ABC staff or other guests.

Illegal Activities

  • Illegal or offensive conduct is not permitted including but not limited to the use and/or possession of illegal substances, including but not limited to heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines, and opiates, and possession of illegal items under Zanzibar and United Republic of Tanzania Law. Gambling, contraband, prostitution, and drugs are strictly prohibited on hotel premises.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation 72 hours after booking for full refund if booked more than 30 days before check-in. Cancellation up to 14 days before check-in for 50% refund. Cancellation within 14 days of check-in will suffer 100% cancellation fee, unless we are notified ahead of check-in that you would like to take a voucher for future stay.

 

For bookings more than 6 months in advance, we will allow 100% refund for cancellations more than 2 months before the check-in date and 50% refund for cancellations more than 3 weeks before check-in.

 

Vouchers valid up to 3 years will be issued for future stay if travel is postponed. Bookings made using vouchers are not eligible for refund.
